Team Elite Kickboxing has a progressive grading system that tests students at many different stages on your journey to black belt and beyond.

Do I have to grade?

It is compulsory for all Tek Mini Master (4yrs +) and Junior Elite (8yrs+) students to grade. It is optional for Senior Elite students to participate in gradings.

How soon can I take my grading?

This depends on many different aspects and those students that regularly attend classes, demonstrate good levels of commitment and effort will be put forward for their belt grading.

What happens if I fail a belt grading?

You will be given a feedback form explaining where you went wrong and what you must improve on before re-taking your belt at the next available grading.

Black Belt & Beyond.

Once you have attained the rank of Black Belt 1st Dan (Degree) the journey of martial art learning has only just begun. Your degree of black belt goes from 1st Dan up to 9th Dan which could take students a life time of training to achieve.

To be considered for a Dan grading you must maintain a high standard of training and continue to show progression as a martial artist and person.

Dan gradings are taken every 3-5 years.

Respect.
